Question - Alien Why is this character so hard to punish?

Is it just me or is this character REALLY hard to punish? For some reason, I can never punish blocked unsafe 50/50s and his low crawl.. like ever.
Maybe it's the dumb high pitched noises and the fact that all of his moves look samey samey turns my brain off, idk.

that's exactly what it is. Use your fastest move to punish the same thing happens to me it says -17 but when I throw out a 12 frame move it doesn't punish...so I started throwing out a 7 frame combo starter and now that's all I use

Practice mode. Record the move block it then practice punishing it

I punish with a 40% combo using Jacqui pretty consistently off a blocked flip.

The ex flip. I just go for a mix up if I block regular flip. Or grab.

The timing is really weird. You kinda have to punish as he finishes the animation of tail flip. Don't wait until the entire thing is over if that makes any sense. Honestly the easiest way is just go practice the timing thats what i did. No issues punishing him after that

Yeah.. that seems to be it. The block stun looks like it's high but it's actually very low, low crawl especially has very little blockstun.
