Who plays similar to Skarlet?

Hello, I think I'm gonna buy MK1 in the coming days (even though I'm still waiting for Sonya and Jax to be main roster!) and wanted to ask after a year+, what character plays similarly to Skarlet? Her MK11 version, of course. She ended up being one of my mains in MK11, but I don't think she'll ever return

I'm not looking for a zoner that just stays in one corner spamming projectiles, that's not how I play Skarlet. Her zoning options are good but I also love using her combos and KBs. I guess I'm looking for similar strings.

I don't think anyone in MK1 plays similar to Skarlet at all.

The closest thing I can actually think of is, strangely, Takeda. He has short-reach, but fast, strings, while also having long range ones similar to her whips. He also has a teleport and a fast, fullscreen low projectile (that can be done in the air and used in setups). But as Eldriken said, there isn't really a character that plays similar to her...

You could try pairing Sub-Zero kameo with Takeda (so you get a parry functionally identical to Skarlet's) but I'd say they don't really have much synergy compared to Jax, Sektor or Cyrax.
