Who is your favorite character from Kombat Pack 1?

Now that Kombat Pack 1 is complete, who is your favorite character to come out of it?

For me, it would have to be Sindel, whom has climbed up to be my second most used character in the game, after Kitana. This is coming from someone who wasn't a big Sindel user in the past games.

Just for fun, I'll also rank them all from favorite to least favorite:

Sindel
Spawn (I usually don't like guests in MK, but he's an exception)
Shang Tsung
Nightwolf
Joker
Terminator

Also, to note, this is not asking who is the best tier-wise. This is just for personal preference, and nothing more.

In terms of fun I've had
1.Terminator
2.Nightwolf
3.Joker
4.Sindel
5.Spawn
6. Shang
But in terms of overall presentation, and how well done I think they are, I need to give it to Joker. He brings so much life to the game.

Nightwolf is my secondary character. The way I was playing Kung Lao up til Evo is basically his whole playstyle, but safer and more rewarding. I love Cary and enjoy playing Shang and Term from time to time, I generally dont care for The Joker as a rule, I never see Sindel and dont know why people say shes not that strong, and I'm actually p disappointed in Spawn.

Shang - Cary Tagawa made him perfect. He's fun to play as well, my most played DLC, 2nd overall
Sindel - Tied with Shang. Also great voice actress and one of the best looking characters in the game imo. Best customization as well. 2nd most played DLC but slowly catching up to Shang and might come out on top.

The rest are just meh. Nightwolf got boring fast, same with Terminator and I don't even know who Spawn was before he was announced and I'm still not interested at all. Joker V2 is one of the most fun I've had in this game but MK >>> guests.

Idk that song is just stuck in my head, but yeah Spawn easily.

After that tie between Sindel, Joker and Shang. I forget Nightwolf is even in the game sometimes.

I have to add that i am really pissed off that they wasted 2 Sindel skins on revenant versions. I don't understand why DLC characters come with revenant versions, they are not even in the story mode.

The fact that they removed her projectile from her base abilities and made her levitation basically useless are another two things that i dislike. But other than that i think that they did ok job.

Shang IS KP1 for me (should have been base roster, but $$$). The other 5 can go chill in a dumpster.

Sindel for sure, I like her costumes, voice actor, taunts, throws and general play style. I only play Royal Edenian variation, but I did experiment with the other two. She's fun and well designed in my view, definitely my favorite of the pack. Story retcon aside, they hits the right boxes overall.

I like Nightwolf's aesthetics as well. He isn't as fun as Sindel, but I think he was nicely done and well designed.


I do think they did a good job and most of the DLC particularly the aforementioned, Shang, Spawn and Joker. Terminator is like the only character that I just can't root for in any way.

Spawn is the only guest who really deserved to be in. Many people have been asking for him for a while. Who was asking for Terminator and Joker? They were only added in to tie in with their movies.

I would have preferred we got 5 dlc with doom Slayer than 6 with Joker and terminator.
HOPEFULLY he is KP2

I regret pre-ordering the Kombat pack as the others were boring

Oh well... Learnt my lesson to buy single characters

Shang Tsung (probably best dlc objectively, great design, gameplay, and voice acting)
Sindel (like to play against for some reason)
Terminator (hate to play against, hate animation)
Nighwolf/Spawn (just boring)
