Which character is the best for pressure and rushdown style.

Basically I hate turtles and zoners, and Im looking for the best fighter to deal with them. Browsing around a bit and watching gameplay footage I think that Cage might be the man for the job and he is also tournament viable.

Eh, not really. He can get shut down by sub zero ice clone. I would think Smoke as he cannot be zoned and has good ways of getting into the fight. In terms of pressure, Cage is king. Goddamn, every combo must end in a nut punch or else you suck as cage.

Cage is your man, Or Sektor. Basically, what you need is a combo which does not leave your opponent able to wake up. Sektor does that with flamethrower and cage with his nut punch. Kung lao to an extent with his low hat.

I would say Cage is the rush down specialist because lots of his chains having quick startup, leave him at positive or safe on block. Plus, the design of his X-Ray pretty much backs up or encourages his rush down style of play. He has a safe High-Low mixup, although not as rewarding.

However, he doesn't do big damage, has poor zoning and is easilly zoned out.
