D3, uppercut, or ex skydrop are your best bets against Cage. The best time to try and get out of his pressure is always after blocking something, or ducking while he's doing a high string. Never try to do anything after getting hit (although it is possible for characters with 6f moves to get out of pressure after getting hit). It's easiest to poke out after blocking a f32, f33, or 21. You can duck and whiff punish 21, 11, and 11f1 as well if you read that Cage will go for these, as they all hit high - easiest punish for these is to just use Quan's uppercut. The last hit of f32 whiffs on a crouch blocking Quan, so you uppercut Cage if he tries to go for f32 against you. While blocking, it's a guessing game, unless the Cage player is being too predictable. Be aware that 21 might be followed up by a f2, which hits overhead, or f33 might be followed by a b3, which also hits overhead. You should be able to react to f33 being blocked in time though, as it is -4. Cage may stagger his f3s as well, and delay the next knee to bait a counterpoke attempt, and either stuff it or block and punish. It really comes down to how the Cage player likes to apply pressure.
