When people disconnect on DS.

Sorry to make a thread on this but I just wanted to clarify that when it says, "Oppenent has disconnected" does that mean they turned their DS off?

Because if so, that's just pointless because they could just wait 3 seconds after the fatality or what not happens.

Yeah, it happens against almost everybody I play. The DS is pretty much a joke, I think I'll be switching back to XBL.
