UMK3 is the only mortal kombat i have really played so i would have to say that i don't really have many options here

12 years mothafucka!!!!!!! and it's still been my most played game every year

Man I remember when I was like 11 or 12 playing UMK3 on my SNES Motaro was a pain in the ass, Id have to do the cheat to get 30 kontinues and use most of them up on him. Now Motaro is a piece of cake he sucks. Goro on MK4 is hard too because his vitality is so high, your combos barely damage him.

An easy way to beat Goro in MK4 is to use the spiked club from Reiko or Jax. Do the high punch attack (when they hit the enemy into the background) run back there to Goro, and do it again as soon as he gets up! Repeat until dead. If you get MAXDAM, just run back again after you are knocked away. He may block it sometimes, but just keep trying it.

The hardest boss for me was definitely Kintaro. The only way I could beat him was with Kitana doing the fan lift over and over.

Kintaro Mk2 i remeba i first played when i wuz three tears old sneaking to my neighbors house jus 2 play MK 2 On Genesis

I've never had any trouble with sub-bosses but I've learned some of their tactics but Kintaro is definitely my pick. I could finally beat him thanks to the tactics Scheisse found.

That would've been my hardest but since Scorpion's combos in MK:DA were so easy to master I could beat Moloch easily.

I never had MKDA or MKD (except MKDA on the GBA, which doesn't even have a sub-boss) and I'd say Kintaro has the toughest AI overall. He can be fairly easy if you're timing/placing your jump kicks just right though.
