Right now I'm playing fighting games all the time, MK mostly, but I bought AE a few days ago, because I never really played any SF game and that looks cool (I can't really care about Yun or Fei Long before someone mentions). I've spent a lot of tome playing fps games since Modern Warfare 2. People say it was the beginning of the downfall for the franchise, but I actually enjoyed this one by far the most out of all. I enjoyed it so much that I have bought Black Ops too. Which was a huge mistake, it's everything what MW2 is, just worse with a campaign filled with even more nonsense and a zombiemode that I believe I am the only person on earth who can't fricking stand it lol. I also played a lot of Bad Company 2, which is a lot better than BO, but falls behind MW2 - slaughtering helpless players sitting in the apache is priceless though
. I played a lot of Halo 3, but I never really enjoyed the pvp-multiplayer, coop campaign is the real fun. I feel the same with every Halo, great multiplayer, just not my style. Before that I played Guild Wars. A lot. And by that I mean A LOT. I suck at it, but it was so much fun with my friends and I had a great guild, so it was pure greatness. The GW memories almost make my eyes filled with tears
. And I'm always playing some kind of rpg along other games. That rpg is either Gothic, Gothic II or Knights of The Old Republic. I don't even know how many times I played through those 3 games. I also enjoy Half-Life games. Only the first 3 though. Those are like the aforementioned rpgs. HL2 has nothing to do with the original and doesn't have that atmosphere nor anything. Don't get me wrong, those are great games, but are certainly not on par with the old ones. Before that was DOS, I loved it
. I played MK3, One Must Fall Battlegrounds, Lion King, Duke 3D, Doom, tons of Apogee games and another fighting game with animals in it 'til my eyes started bleeding
.
It worth noting that I was a PC gamer most of my life, but I bought a 360 only for Halo 3 and I slowly turned to be an only console player. Can't say I regret anything, there is the Halo series and all the other big names are coming out for consoles and new rpg games are not as fun - at least for me so my PC is still good for playing them. And fighting games of course. I always really liked them, DOA4 and MKvsDC (I also got SCIV as a birthday present when it came out) were among the first games I bought for the 360 and I really enjoyed both, but I started taking this genre more seriously only after the release of MK9. Which I regret not buying the Kollektor's Edition
.
Haha, I never thought I could write that much about my gaming
