I believe air venom is his best option as far as invincibly frames. Not Exactly a safe option though.

the unblockable stomp works pretty well too. you kinda sacrifice a few invincibility frames for safeness though

Pretty much anything but Air Snatch has invincibility frames.

The height of which the opponent can get grabbed and the start up frames more than make up for the range. Also if the opponent jumps in with a big horizontal hit box(Batman j.2) it makes it easier to grab.
