What are the different types of battle styles and tips for dealing with them and help for my problem

I was battling online and people were rushing me so much and i couldn't deal with it, but i barely won and lost another 2 times and that got me thinking

what are the other battle styles and how do i fight against them. i really need to learn this to get better because I've finally gotten use to the delay but i didn't realize that my major weakness was people rushing and grabs. can't predict them at all so if you video game pros or just people with experience can help me i'd be very thankful

(A bump for your thread)
It'd help if we knew the character you like to play as.
I'm still a relative newbie at Injustice, sorry I can't help much.

Defending against rushdown is part of knowing your opponent's options up-close. If you don't know their good moves, safe moves, mix-ups, then they won't have much trouble with taking you down. You have to know when it's best to keep blocking, or to try escaping by poking or by some other method.

Get over here!
Zone the living hell out of them!

You should also learn how to tech the throw. Just get used to doing it on reaction. You just press the throw button once their throw animation starts.

Another thing you can do is MB something to gain some armor. That will help you out a lot. As Alien said your best bet is to block and anticipate an overhead. Poke out... probably with a d1.

It sounds like you're pretty new (like me). Practice blocking, and learn the movement options for your character. Something I've done, with some success, is set the game to a difficulty level you are comfortable with and use only blocking, movement, and basics to beat your opponents. It helps teach some of the basics first. If you get comfortable with this part, adding in new stuff will be much easier.

I've never been any good at defending and transitioning to an offensive posture after defending, but this helped me. I used to just mash buttons, so my habits are shitty. Building good habits is key.

i'm fighting between maining killer frost or batman

batman was my first and i have a lot more experience but my killer frost isn't that far behind so she is my secondary character and i know how to use solomon grundy but only if the button delay is bad and i can't do much but in this case i was using killer frost and practicing her online
