missiles are coming
A month ago myself and Phase3 started a local weekly outside Philly that lasted all summer just for some "bro time". Marvel vs Capcom 3 was our original game of choice, however Mortal Kombat slowly found it's way being our most competitive game within a few weeks (well, except for Deadliest Warrior).
A lot of us are now attending college outside Philly so we have taken a bit of a break. Yet oddly enough our best Mortal Kombat players are all still here (Phase3, AC1984, Ezael, Teef, Beerman, myself). With that said I would like to extend the invite to anyone interested. I'm not looking at tournaments to be honest, but a great place to practice and have some top quality offline matches with a cast of people who have made top 8 at one tournament or another.
Also to put it in World of Warcraft terms, we currently have a Mileena, Quan Chi, Sub Zero, Kung Lao, Kabal, Reptile, Kenshi, Ermac, and Sektor player. We are looking for a good Cyrax or Raiden player.
I'd like to hear back from anyone else in the area and I'll set up a date/time for everyone. At the moment all of us just meet up randomly since we've become friends (or well... rivals) since this started.
Also I am planning on a "huge" reunion tournament during Thanksgiving and would like to invite anyone from the Jersey/New York area for some MK and turkey.
