OK, I have given it some thought and what I would like to do about this, to get some serious tournament scheduling and ranking system in effort to freshen up the competition, is get some guys on here who are dependable, knowledgable, etc to help run these tournaments.
I would ideally like to have 10 names available so there can be at least one person on say, every Saturday night to help run things via the chat room on here, especially if I'm not around. Anyone who wants to help out and run weekly tournaments, post in here. It doesn't mean you can't play, it just means you will be a back up in case the person ahead of you isn't available, and you can also help during the tournament regardless, if needed. You will be specifically appointed to help contact players as the matches go on, report results to the head coordinators. I'll set up the list as I see fit. Right now, the main problem is keeping track.
DreemerNJ and I were both here when I set up that tournament, and it turned out to be tough to run because it was basically one person at one comp at any one time. This tournament never finished.
Deadlines are going to be strict, player limits will be enforced. Manditory contact outside of match rooms, like, chat, PM, email, xbox messaging, etc, will be necessary to play. Crankiness on the other hand, will not be necessary.
The rules remain the same, date and time announced, players show up to the chat room (we had 24 at one point in the chat last time), and the brackets are made.
Let me know guys, I want to see some ranks.
