Pros:
-A game in Chicago. I think we need more Chicago in our games.
-While a limited amount of things to hack, I feel it is neither short or excessive in number
-LOTS of missions. Story and otherwise will keep you busy for a long time if you invest in it.
-Mission variety (I'm watching the credits roll and I didn't feel like any one mission was repetitive in its nature)
-The mission music is pretty cool, and so is the song selection in cars
-Upgrades give incentives to play "well" (get headshots, takedowns instead of killing with body shots, etc.)
-One of the best police forces you will ever encounter (seriously they have like a 5 second response time)
-Car chases are fun
-The UI works well on console and surprisingly isn't overwhelming
Cons:
-Profiling/hacking civilians gets tedious, but does yield rewards (money, songs, cars)
-Massive slowdown between completing a mission and it saving/loading the icons on the map (I classify this as a minor issue, it didn't really affect my experience)
-Driving feels a little weird, but serviceable
-Some objects or people will render improperly or in a weird way, and phasing object (very rare for me, happened twice in my entire playthrough)
-I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I seem to get stuck in cover for an extra second when I try to "unstick" from the cover spot to move freely. Annoying.
Final thoughts:
Game is good, ambitious. Perhaps too much. It looks nice, its a blast to play, and has tons of content to keep you occupied.
