Hey folks, been coming to the site since this games release, and I figured I would show my appreciation by extending an invite to everyone to a party I am having, Saturday, August 13th

There will be Beer Pong, Cornhole, a Pool, Cards, Food, Beer (and other non-alcoholic drinks for the younger crowd), as well as a MK9 tournament!
Simply a casual tournament, double elimination, best of 3 rounds. All skill levels invited, and encouraged to come and have some fun! If you get beat quick, no problem, there is a bunch of other things to do!
I'd ask if you wish to participate, that we have an entry fee of just $10. $5 of this will go to the winners pot (Winner Takes ALL, First place or bust baby!) and the other $5 will go to helping cover the cost of food, beverages, and other party expenses. IF YOU BRING YOUR OWN BEER OR SODAS (for the younger folks) $5 is all you will need to bring. Please contact me if you plan on bringing something else, so I will know ahead of time. Also, this will be an outdoor event, and while I have several chairs available, bring a chair if you'd like to sit while spectating.
This party will start at 8, with the tournament beginning at 9:30 p.m. Free Play is from 8p.m to 9:20p.m. After that, its down to business. Please RSVP here on this thread if you plan on coming, so I can try to get a head count. I won't have this unless we can get at least 8 folks.
Located in Hampton, off of Todds Lane and Whealton Road. I'll give out an exact address soon.
EDIT: Will be playing on a 360, however if the general consensus would like to play on PS3, I have one, just don't have the game =( If we change to ps3, we would need to have someone bring a copy, early if possible, so we could get patches out of the way.
