Update: A word from producer, Adam Urbano, on some new Playstation 4 features for Injustice: Gods Among Us 'Ultimate Edition'.

In addition to the awesome PS4 architecture that allowed us to go with 1080p at 60 FPS, the new features of the hardware fit Injustice perfectly, and even allowed us to add support for wish-list features like video sharing in a more seamless way than we ever thought possible. The first time we pushed the “share” button on a PS4 controller and saw how streaming gameplay to the web just worked, we knew this technology had the ability to offer every player the same awesome tournament experiences that currently requires dedicated devices and complicated setups. I can’t wait to watch the first streaming tournament of a group of friends who have suddenly been empowered with the sort of tools that only professional gamers previously had access to.

As a person who is looking foward to buy it, can anyone give me an intel of how is the netcode of this game?

How it fares compared to SFIV for instance? asking that because SFIV is a game the run smooth online at least with people from my country, and that's all i ask, MK9 didn't work well for me in any situation.

Does the netcode work in conjunction with Players running the standard/stock copy of the game?

Netcode is better than MK9 and UMVC3, but slightly worse than SSF4.

Does anyone know if ps3 arcade sticks will work on the ps4 version of injustice? It won't be worth getting if I can't use my stick.

Net code is very smooth if you are playing someone from your country.

Injustice also has much better input buffering than SF, so you don't need to worry about timing your inputs to make a bunch of links either, thus when there is lag it isn't as much of an issue.

Ranked matches have a nasty habit of matching you up with people from other countries though, so those matches lag pretty hard. Stick to player matches and rematch those with good connections. Matches in the same country- though maybe not East Coast US vs West Coast US due to sheer distance- run very smooth.

And yeah, MK9 netcode is awful. I can say Injustice is leagues ahead of that.

Thx a lot for answering, once a get some feedback of the PC version port, i will be grabing this then.

I wish the in game music outside of story mode always sounded like the music in that trailer. Its nice they went all hollywood for the story but it doesn't do much for the game outside of that mode. We could really use a driving background soundtrack of themes on stages during regular matches as good as the trailer song.

Injustice netcode is and still be garbage on the new console. lazy ass nrs wont fix shit. this is a waste of money.
