Greetings fellows!

I've liked playing fighting games since I was a kid, but I didn't really understand how deep they can be until few years ago. Up until that moment, I thought knowing how to do hadoken, shoryuken and tatsumaki was the shit
My history with fighters began with International Karate + and Barbarian on Commodore 64. Due to being more of a computer nerd, I didn't play much consoles back in the day, but now and then I got to play them at my friends house.
Whether it was Nintendo, Dreamcast or PlayStation I always choose to play some fighting game. Just to list stuff I remember playing: Street Fighter 1&2, some capcom's VS series, Soul Calibur 1&2, Tekken 1-3, Mortal Kombat 1&2... Not that I knew how to play at all, but there was something I really liked about them.
When SFIV came along, I played it quite a bit with my friend, but at that point I still didn't KNOW fighting games. It wasn't until MVC3 came out that I went to youtube and saw the light. This, however, was also a good and a bad thing as I was a bit overwhelmed. I had enjoyed fighters for the past 20 years and realized that I knew absolutely zero about them.
Few months ago I decided to give it a go. I bought Injustice on steam and tried to play it. Well, I was playing with Xbox 360 controller, so you might guess why I wasn't having much fun
I ended up ordering Hori Fighting Commander 3 from Japan. I got it maybe 1-2 months ago and been getting more and more into fighters.
It's not that easy when you're 30 and don't have the muscle memory for some crazy strict timings (eg. sf), but I'll get there eventually!
Anyways, here is something I made the other day to show where I'm at:
I realize I use all the meter and that is usually bad... etc, but it's mostly just trying to figure out the character
