Traveling to EVO Series Tourneys out of Canada (Toronto/Montreal)

Okay, so obviously we also need to start going to more majors south of our lovely border. A. It's a great experience and a whole lot of fun. B. Evo points. C. We're actually not that far from some of these places so why the fuck not. In any case this thread is so we can make some sound travel plans

NeoRussell Jer zaf Playpal Ernovaku Casselman (from what I understand, the people willing to travel are on this list).

Here is the list of feasible destinations so far by either car or bus (we can consider plane for some of course, but only if it's cheap).

MLG (March 23rd) in Columbus, OH
PowerUp 2012 (April 13-15) Cincinnati, OH
Flawless Victory (Same weekend as PowerUp), Virginia
Season's Beatings: Summer Slam (May 4-6) Columbus, OH (same date as Toryuken unless one of those dates changes, so it's probably going to be Toryuken anyways)
UFGT (May 25-27) Chicago, IL
MAT (June 3-4) Montreal, ON (posted for TO players mostly)
ECT (June 9-10) Morristown, NJ

Obviously EVO is non-negotiable.


Some of those are obviously fairly close together so we'd have to choose one over the other (for example UFGT or ECT since both are soo close to MAT). PowerUp may be an option of we don't make it out to MLG... But in any case, this thread is here now and we can start discussing and looking for trip deals that can benefit a whole group.

I don't think I'll be able to go to lots of majors. But I'll attend Toryuken, MAT and EVO
