I'm trying to be as salt free as possible. But maybe I'll keep a packet of salt from McDonald's in my pocket.

I would! At least the minimum you could hook it up to the hotel TV (laggy but whatever lol)
Only issue I can think of is that I have an HDMI-to-DVI connector since I hook up my consoles to my monitor, which is lacking an HDMI port. Probably wouldn't be able to hook it up to a television. >_<
