I was playing an online match, when suddenly my hdmi cable disconnected (its kinda loose and it tends to happen) so my TV went black and I went to the console and pressed the power button to turn it off. I changed the hdmi cable since I got tired of the constant blackouts and when I loaded MK it froze in the title screen! Once scorpion and subzero appear in the arena and the MK icon finishes loading it just crashes, looping the arena soundtrack (so apparently the disc is still running).
Apparently the disc reader isnt the problem since I tried other games and they played perfectly, I guess I can also disregard the disc being scratched since I couldn't notice any damage on it. I think the problem might've been caused due to the immediate shutdown while some data was being saved, causing an overlap or a corrupted data file, I was hoping you could give me advice on which one it could be so I can delete the culprit.
I have 3 MK data files stored on my PS3:
-Downloaded settings
-Player statistics
-Global settings
Would deleting any of these solve the issue? If not, what should I do? Thanks in advance.
