Question - Thunder God Thundergod 1122xxshocker, how to connect?

Hello. I'm trying to do a fancy combo off the b14 xx lighting ball cancel and through my testing I found that standing jab is the most reliable to connect after the cancel. Now it looks really cool when 1122xxShocker connects but I've only done it a hand full of times. Most of the time the opponent is zapped too much and goes flying off or the shocker doesn't go fast enough and the opponent drops straight down before it hits.

So my question is: what is the trick to connecting it AND is standing jab the most reliable after b14 xx lightningball xx run?

edit: 1 more thing. is the b14 cancel limited to only once per combo? I'm pretty sure its yes but just want to make sure

the trick is to hold the last part of 1122 not too long and not too short.

b2, b14 xx lightning ball cancel xx 1122 xx EX shocker, b14 super man

I suppose the trick is not to use 1122 like that. I'm pretty sure you can get almost the same damage meterless with LRC or get more with a bar. I mean, just any starter into ex-shocker into string will do about 35%.

1122 scales damage horribly.
