Start of match options to get 1st hit
• d1 is a long range poke and can hit most opponents from starting range
• NJP is one of Ferra/Torr's best starting tools. F/T's NJP has insane range and can even hit some opponents when they jump back at the start of the match. The downside is that it's slow so it can be countered by jump ins.
• b232+4 can hit from starting range, but is useful if you think your opponent may start the match with a jump in attack.
• exBF3 is a extremely hard to punish armored overhead attack that can hit from starting range. It can also hit opponents that jump in, or NJP.
• JI3, DBF1 is another favorite of mine. Gets 1st hit on block as well. Beware that is has a gap
