Yup, it is pretty rough. I never envied those people on that show.

While it can be a tough time... It's not always THAT bad I mean you could get on a project with a good group of goons and have a blast while finding more bugs then that lollipop you dropped behind your couch back in third grade.

Also sometimes it's those bad children games that end up being more fun to test then major releases. I mean sure the major release is a better game but you're testing the game... Not playing it. Also, that's when the project is being run on a tight ship and you're pressured to perform or else you get flak for it. However if you're on like a Dora the Explorer iPhone game... No one cares and you all just sit around making fun of the game and writing what ever bugs you find.

Overall... A tester job is good for a summer job but, don't try to make a career out of it... It won't end well for you
