What creative differences did you and Ed have during the development of the first few MK games with respect to (i) gameplay and (ii) story?

Are you a fan of other fighting game series? If so which ones are your favorites?

Can you elaborate more on basing the game around Jean Claude Von Stroke (Van Damme)? What was the original vision? Why didn't it work out?

Lastly, and I have to ask, Do you know what 'meter' is in MK9? Ed didn't, hence the popular troll 'whats meter?'

1. two parter: of all the character concepts that did make final games, which one do you wish you could now change or even remove altogether?
and was there any character concepts you scrapped but now wish you hadn't?

2. apparently baraka went from a yellow,black and red clad man wearing a bandana over his face and with hookswords to the the blade wielding tarkatan we know today, were there any other characters that had such a drastic change from original concept to final in game product?
heres the pic im taking about btw,

3.who/what/when/how did baraka's chop chop come about?
its my favourite special in all of MK so id really like to hear the backstory behind its creation

4.what was the inspiration for the concept of mileena?

5.(i asked james this last week but just to ask john aswell, as i must find it if there is one)
do you know if there is a revision of MK2 anywhere on this earth where baraka has his spin that was taking away from him until it was given back in MKT
