@Tm_whiteboi -- What can I say man, you played amazing throughout this entire tournament. You looked consistently on-point and your reactions, punishes, and reads were superb in match after match. You were given a hard path and you crushed it completely. Awesome showing and great weekend for you man.
@GGA 16 Bit -- Once again, you have proven to be one of the most consistent tourney players in the scene. You simply play the game better than a lot of other people, and watching you fight so hard for each win is exciting every time. While you won't be able to convince anyone else that Catwoman is bad after MLG, we look forward to seeing more of Selina this summer and beyond
@MITDJT -- From what people said about you leading up this weekend, this was a huge leap for you. You beat several good players and went out with a 2-3 set which is respectable by any stretch. Also in true MK fashion, you turned the tables for a tournament and made it farther than your bro. Congrats on a very solid performance and looking forward to seeing what you bring out for EVO.
@AK Pig Of The Hut -- A lot of people were pulling for you this weekend after all the hard work you've been putting in. It was really evident this weekend that the long sets people have been playing against each other night after night are paying off, and you cracked your way back into one of the most difficult Top 8's the game has had yet. Congrats and here's to an awesome summer.
@RDK|Tyrant -- I know that playing against guys in your own scene who know you well can be depressing, but you showed this weekend that you're still a formidable foe to the rest of the world. You looked really sharp at MLG, and your spacing was out of this world. Congrats on placing Top 8 at a stacked event -- and even if the game depresses you sometimes, I hope you stick with it because you're always a blast to watch.
@MF SLAYER -- Forget the results, you looked great this weekend. You play with a heart and energy that are unique to you, and you really did your thing in the brackets. There were several momements where you could have let your emotions get the best of you, and you held it together and made smart moves. Congrats on a really solid tournament, and looking forward to seeing you play again this summer.
@Rip, @Tom Brady, @RDK|GodSpeed, and @UltraDavid -- You guys should be considered heroes of the weekend as well. Thanks for staying patient and holding things together even when the tournament management was falling apart around you. You all did an excellent job, were incredibly professional, and you made our game look good. Also Godspeed, that haircut was 10/10 -- maybe you should stop wearing hats
To everyone else -- regardless of everything that went on, thanks for making this a really memorable weekend. At the end of the day, I will still remember the awesome matches over everything that went wrong. Thanks for coming together despite the circumstances and making this weekend fun for each other and for everybody watching at home.
