Due to an unforseen event, it seems that the we won't be seeing one of the Administrators, and fellow UMK.com ambassador, Krayzie Bone at NEC...
That is unless, as a community, we come together and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!
Juggernaut is also close to being able to afford to come to NEC as well. I have spoken about this to Krayzie Bone and we have decided that we are going to try our best to help both players financially so that we can get both of them to NEC. BRING IT PLAYERS!!! WE NEED SUPPORT FOR THIS FUNDRAISER.
I know it's online...but this is each person's chance to help a member of our community. This is the first in, what I am hoping, becomes a longstanding tradition of helping out of state players attend major tournaments.

November 6th and 7th
$10 Entry Fee
Double Elimination
Mame or 360(to be explained below)
1st Place gets an Award + Personalized Dog Tag
2nd Place gets Personalized Dog Tag
3rd Place gets Personalized Dog Tag
I will be taking payments via Paypal for this. All money will be used to help Krayzie Bone get to Philadelphia for NEC.
- If players both have MAME and prefer to play that way, it is preferrable to do so. Actually, Peer 2 Peer MAME will be optimal, but if you choose to play via a generic Kaillera server, that is fine. MAME IS THE DEFAULT METHOD AND IF ONE PLAYER PREFERS MAME, THIS IS HOW MATCHES ARE PLAYED.
- If both players have Xbox 360, and they both agree to forego using MAME for that specific match, feel free to do so.
Remember, this is a fundraising event. The idea is to raise money for someone in our community. Your overall performance, lag, delay, etc. mean very little. What matters is your donation so that you get to play and get to help a fellow community member. Even if you don't like online play(like me), entering and playing will only help further this cause. Remember, one day YOU might need help getting to a tournament.
All results are to be posted here and PM'd to me on UMK or TYM. I will also be online the majority of the weekend during this tournament.
If someone does not show within 1/2 hour of agreed upon time, that person will recieve a DQ and we will move forward with the tournament.
Players will only be listed as confirmed for the tournament once I recieve payment via Paypal. PM me for paypal info.
Once brackets are made, it is each player's responsibility to contact each other through PM on this site to set up a time. We must get to the top 8 players at MINIMUM by the end of Saturday.
