Hi guys I'm bored so I'm gonna post this. I used this for my history project lol.

Injustice Testers among Us
- this marked the start of the game. It started with civil war and ECT! Where the top 8s was filled with tom brady, reo, need josh, and Arturo. They all tested the game, which made people say things like "what's the point of competing with the testers" or "we should ban the testers". But as the time went on and people started to level up. Even though there were testers here and there people started to adapt and then a new threat came...

Great Scorpion Scare of June
- June 3rd 2013 was "the end of injustice". During this month long era people went on a rampage. Many were threatening to quit and go back to MK where scorpion still was... This era brought up many arguments such as The Kryptonite Council vs Slips. The Kryptonite council made an argument on how scorpion broke the mechanics of the game and how he should be nerfed. But the main historical event Was CEO... This tournament was supposedly the make or break tourney for injustice. Long story short, The 4 scorpions in top 8 ended getting Bopped by Chris G. Then Scorpion got nerfed to a shitter.

MK9 > Injustice
- This era was actually going on since the beginning of the game and is actually still going on today. But back then this gave players an option select for why they didn't perform well at EVO.

EVO 2013
- rise of KDZ. this tournament was real important to this games life. People were already quitting due the supposed "lack of fundamentals"
- Superman is in Top 8! Times three... Yes this tournament had 3 superman in top 8. This made the game look bad because it was EVO! In grand Finals we had the most exciting Match Up of the game Green Lantern vs Superman with a Short appearance from Doomsday. The end of the tournament was pretty grim KDZ took the tourney with F23 while getting boo'd. On the bright side NRS Released a trailer for the Next "game Killer"

Injustice is dead
- Superman And Black Adam. These two characters were "Killing the game" they were in most of the top 8s and people were getting tired of it. And unfortunately superman and black Adam won the Next two Majors. After this people were spreading Things like "superman and Black Adam rule the game", and MU numbers such as 9-1 superman. This was a pretty Grim era for the game. But then NRS started enlightening Us with patch notes for the low tier. But there were no signs of nerfs for the top tier, so some people still had no hope for the game. With the talk about superman and black Adam, another character was "coming"

Patch 1.0.6
- October 1st 2013 this patch was Make or Break for the game ( hmmm I've heard this before ). This Day would change the game for everyone.
- the patch notes were released everyone was hopeful. But talking points were brought up such as: "why raven was untouched?", "black is Deathstroke 2.0", and ( the big one ) "WHY WAS MARTIAN MANHUNTER BUFFED"

Kabal is in injustice?
- durning the first two months of the Patch some players were happy, some players returned, and some players wanted the kill the game?
During this era The talk of Kabals return were being thrown around. And many people believed it to be true. After several top player were saying how Martian rules the game and Martian was gonna rule NEC. Because of this, players were considering to quit the game! #dejavu

NEC and the Rise of the Buffed!
- NEC 2013 this tourney was the Make or Break tourney ( I think we've heard this before ). This was the tourney where Martian was supposed to reign Top! But unfortunately all the Martians Were mopped up in pools... Instead of this tournament being ruled by The Top tier, the top 8 were filled with new faces with some familiar faces like Bruce and Clark. But strangely they were eliminated early in the top 8 which left the top 5 filled with Oddball characters such as: Raven, Doomy, Bane, Solomon Grundy, and the winner of the tournament HawkGirl! This tournament was said to be the start of the golden age of injustice. And that statement wasn't wrong! More new characters started to rise like Flash, Catwoman, WonderWoman, NightWing, Deathstroke, Zod, and finally a top 8 appearance from the kabal himself Martian Manhunter.

Maybe it's just me, but the overall progression of Injustice has felt really familiar in some aspects to how Marvel 3 progressed from my perspective. I remember when Marvel 3 was first released you had players like Justin Wong going on twitter talking about how cheap, easy, and random the game was, and a lot of players talked about how the game wasn't really "mahvel" and never would be.
Early on you had people freaking out about how scrubby and OP Sentinel was, resulting in a knee jerk nerf from Capcom that would in retrospect seem more than a little embarassing. Phoenix also got her fair share of boo's from the crowd if I remember right.
Then in the "ultimate" era of the game wesker appeared who everyone was convinced was absolutely necessary to be on your team to be competitive as he possessed isane things like a Level 4 xfactor, and he was ultimately revealed to be mid tier once the true god tiers of the game arrived.

To me early 2013 was "Space Invaders 1v1" era, what's with fullscreen projectile spamming 2/3 of the game. Although back then I was merely getting used to new visual and audial style of the game compared to MK, so I wasn't watching IGAU too closely. I've started following it somewhat around the time 1.06 changes were released for the preview. I really appreciate what IGAU scene became at that point.

I dig this. Prior to that there was the pre-release and the negativity surrounding Clash due to the germany alpha build tourney. This was "Flash is STILL top tier" for Injustice. Everyone was Certain Flash was going to mop the floor from start to finish even before we knew the rest of the roster.

Following this was the era of "the demo". This was when Doomsday was the boss and was considered ridiculously OP due to folks getting bopped so hard by his armor from that build. No one could decide who they liked best between Bats and Wonder Woman and back then there was even a lot of hope for Lex as the setup overlord of the game. Folks also predicted Chris G would be the best Batman player around given his vids from the lab with the character. This was before he fell for Green Arrow later.

Following this folks also near launch over promoted Green Arrow due to Chris G being Chris G. He was always a mid to high mid tier even at his best IMO. However, folks truly wanted to believe it was the character and not just Chris G doing what he does...playing an option loaded character and dominating with his reads and incredible skill at controlling match pace.

Civil War was 11 days post launch, I could def see the tester adv argument. ECT was over a month in, players had also had pirated the game 2 1/2 weeks before launch giving them about 2 months with the game. No tester had 2 months on the game nor did they play anything close to the final product. So in reality, the testers had the same or less time on the game then half of the entrants. At ECT, REO and I as well as every tester were getting hit by tech and setups that we didnt even know existed. ECT was the communities ultimate option select. Counts if you lose but wont count if you win.

Yeah, but a normal calender year is like 10 TYM years. The game.was dead and old two months after launch and people were ready for MK10. Lol
