Thank you to Pig for running MK at Final Round

People tend to forget just how damn hard it is to run a tournament, especially by yourself.

Pig did one hell of a job setting up, running the brackets, and running the entire stream at the same time.

I've been through a similar situation at SCR 2011, and I was so tired that I was shaking by the time it was over, but I only had to run brackets alone, adding on a stream would have killed me!



So this is a thread to thank Pig Of The Hut for his hard work at Final Round last weekend.

I know that there has been some negativity this weekend involving Pig, and I think some of it has caused his hard work to be overlooked, but there will be NONE of that here. ANY drama related or negative posts in this thread will be dealt with.

So let's give thanks for his hard work for the community. Thanks Pig!

I said it once and I'll say it again: Pig Of The Hut you're worth more to this community than your performance at tournaments! I knew you were something special when you hyped up csub as the "tournament viable lethal killing machine" and ended my constant downplaying of said character. (at the time) Anyway, not everyone is here to crucify you. Take the bad with the good, and know that you can't make everyone happy. It sucks, and it will be depressing, but only if the person who harshly criticizes you truly matters to you. Stay strong, lrn2bf2, and get your head back in the game. See you at UFGT.

Without pig most of Final Round wouldnt have been possible. Not just for the players but the people at home that got to watch it. It was his stream that he got there early and spent all week getting ready that allowed the over 1000 viewers to tune in for 10 hours straight of MK. He, as usual took tons of his personal time to make sure the community got what they wanted. Thank you for everything you do Pig Of The Hut.

It was an excellent experience for viewers, and from what I could tell the tournament ran incredibly smoothly all the way through. Quality TO work like that is invaluable to any community, so you have my gratitude and admiration for going through all of that over what was very clearly a stressful weekend.

Seriously, Pig does a lot more for this community than it seems. He's a top player who's smart, nice, helpful, and presentable. This is more that can be said about a lot of other top players. He represents the MK community well, and we should all thank him for everything he's done, not just putting all that insane work in Final Round, which was AWESOME by the way!! Thanks, Mr. McCaskill!
