Hey guys! I'm new to TYM so hi there! I heard about you guys from /r/mortalkombat and I was wondering if you could give me any tips for how to get into the competitive scene. I really want to get out there and kick some butt and I'm pretty good now I think I'm in Europe and play on PS4 which I hear is region locked, is this true, anyway around it? So if you guys could point me in the direction of tournaments in Europe (I'm in the UK specifically) that'd be great because I'm still working out how to use these forums exactly! Never really been a member of a community like this before but you gotta start somewhere! Online tournaments specifically would be great for me, any ones you think I could enter or a good place I could keep an eye out for some?

I find the events calendar more handy though. Link on the navbar will get you there, though I've found I like the "weekly" view the most (easier to see event details like location). But for whatever reason, I seem to only be able to get this view by changing the url, so I have this bookmarked:
