Sub-Zero X-ray glitch near corners?

Hey guys, not sure if anyone else experienced this yet but few nights ago I was at my friends place and we played on PSN demo for a few hours with another friend coming by. He loves Sub-Zero, and we noticed something. He froze me near the corner and did the X-ray and it went right thru me and didn't hit me at all? Did no damage lol like I was a ghost literally. We tested it a few times, and it worked like after a few attempts. Right side of the screen, he'd freeze me then do the x-ray and he'd shoulder ram right thru me literally...

Has this glitch or anything like it happened to anyone else yet? I was Scorp and he was Sub. I've noticed Sub has quite a few glitches going on so this is not a huge surprise. Thanks

I've actually had this happen once when a group of friends were playing. We never tried it again though, assuming that the same thing would happen, and didn't really want to risk wasting meter.

Yes this will happen if you do a freeze and then try to xray when your standing right next to your opponent. I have no idea if this is a glitch or part of the move's properties. Either way, simply take a step back or back dash and then the xray will connect.
If you get a freeze though your better off doing a big combo and then tacking the xray on at the end of it. It will net you more damage than a naked xray which only does 28%

Funny because this happened to me too. I told my friend about it and they thought I was crazy.

Yeah totally, as should go for all X-rays unless there's some that do 40%+ naked lol.
