Sub-Zero Ice clone glitch

Unfortunately I don't have a video to help explain this problem. I main SZ and have this problem occasionally where when I jump forward and ice clone mid air and the opponent jumps forward into they start to float away from me across the screen. Has anyone else seen this happen?

Yeah it's happened to me. I think I wrote about it a while ago, and I have a theory on why it might work that way.

2 questions...

1. Was the other person holding a direction when they made contact with the clone??

2. Were you on the Rooftop (Daytime) stage??

Not sure and no. I don't think it is map related because it's done it on a few different ones.

I have actually seen this during the subway stage. I don't have a strong re-collection of how it occured, but i think it has something to do with hitting sub-zero after he does an air ice clone. I was stryker, and connected 4 on his jump in, and accidentally jumped into the clone, but for some reason.. sub-zero couldn't get close to me... also while moving backwards, I noticed the ice clone lasted a little longer too which was odd. it was online in KOTH and i was like "yoyo did you see that shit?" and he said "I couldn't even get close to you"



Wish I knew, I might try to replicate this

It would be too hard to replicate as it's random. I've had over 4000 fights and i've had it happen to me twice.
