Rico: Stock up. Wins the big one at last. Will now have a counter to Carl constantly telling him he can't deliver at a major during his weekly twitter wars with him. I will dock him slightly for getting on the mic every 20 minutes to remind us Black Adam is not that good and there should be no nerfs. Now that he's overcome his curse of under delivering at majors he can work on his next biggest issue, dealing with the cognitive dissonance of telling the MK Community to level up and adapt while he wanted Scorpion banned.
Forever King: Stock up. Forever swoll and forever second at this tournament, King was only beaten by the eventual tournament winners in both games and solidified his spot as arguably the best Batman and Kung Lao in the world. His little brother, Forever King Jr, also looked good(and about 6 years old) with Black Adam on stream. This provides probably the best evidence yet that Black Adam needs a normalization, he is so easy a child can do it.
Chris G: Stock neutral. Chris G gets his standard top 3 finish. Held up the tournament for about 8 hours playing a single match in King of Fighters. I hope he doesn't pick up Tekken or we'll never finish a tournament. Unlike his recent tournaments in other games Chris G did not collude and go to a lower tier troll team. He instead is now playing more matches with Black Adam. God help us all.
REO: Stock up. I don't think any of us know what the hell was going on with Martian Manhunter but it looked awesome. Sent the EVO Champ home early before top 8 causing the stream chat to be flooded with skill gap jokes.
Khaotik: Stock up. With a win over KDZ and a top 5 finish Khaotik has replaced PR Balrog as Killer Frost of America, giving the Killer Frost community a player to root for that can actually land combos. Had a strong top 3 finish in MK but will be slightly docked for an utterly bizarre elimination where he managed to defeat Kenshi with Kitana only to be successfully counter picked by Kung Lao.
Sonic Fox: Stock up. Young Fox has won his 60th East Coast tournament in MK and placed top 16 with Batgirl in IGAU. With Curbo celebrating his 18th birthday and becoming a man this youngster has officially become the child prodigy of the MKC. Bonus points for no longer being insanely irritating on the mic.
Darth Arma: Stock up. Previously known as the guy who chokes at every Break weekly, Arma has finally stepped out of KDZ's shadow and done well on the big stage. I will say if he's going to continue to do commentary he should probably stop acting as KDZ's sidekick by downplaying Superman every 30 seconds. At one point he wasn't even on commentary but got on the house mic to downplay Superman. Stop giving Death a run for his money.
CD Jr: Stock down. After weeks of hyping up Wonder Woman he gets bopped in pools by mustachioed Ares player Mr. Aquaman. Despite this he is still Storms' hero and I eagerly refresh the front page awaiting updates on his new main. Props to Maxter however, for hanging out in the stream chat all weekend asking for Catwoman buffs and blowing up his little brother.
Revolver: Stock up. Revolver has found a niche, transforming himself from pretty good Kitana who everyone forgets when listing top 5 players to becoming the hero of the tournament with his impressive Lex Luthor. However even with one of his best tournaments to date Revolver couldn't escape his bad luck, having his best matches and wins against Chris G and CD Jr off stream and having to fight Sinestro in pools. May possibly become too hollywood to hang out with his partners in crime, Guamo and Insuperable.
Zyphox: Stock down. Hypes himself up as the Flash of America only to get bodied in pools. To make matters worse he pulls the props fishing faux pas of creating an emo thread where he begins by saying he won't many any excuses and then proceeds to type up a laundry list of excuses so long it'd make Carl blush. Pig's stock has also taken a hit, with Zyphox joining the list of online players Pig has Don Kinged that get bodied once they go offline.
KDZ: Stock down. Loses his second major in a row since EVO, this time failing to place top 8. I noticed a disturbing lack of his trademark button up shirt on Saturday. Could this be the source of his power, not f+2,3 after all? There may be hope for KDZ yet though. There's rumors of a 94% damage Superman combo because 71% apparently wasn't enough. That is exactly what Superman needs. Kabal zoning, Kenshi footsies, and now Cyrax damage.
Tom Brady: Stock down. Fails to place top 8 when his tradition of barely overcoming the Green Lantern matchup finally caught up to him against J Rosa. Has entered his emo stage, which also drops Pig's stock since his next podcast will be 2 hours of Tom reminding us how bad he is along with the usual bitter tears about low gun shots from Dave. Has apparently fallen on hard times since he's trying to hawk all his tournament medals and trophies. I should buy the ECT trophy since it's probably the closest I'd ever come to having one in IGAU.
