Spinal match up

Since this is maybe his worst match up, I think a thread is necessary. I haven't found any good way to keep Spinal off me when he's close because of that teleport. What do you guys do to beat him. Is there a good way to punish is teleport when he comes behind you ? Also what do you guys do when he pressure you with his Hvy sword swing ?

I actually think is one of Glacius's better matchups. Certianly better than Sadira and Fulgore.

If spinal has skulls be patient and don't attack...counter attack. If spinal doesn't have skulls then Glacius can be much more aggressive.

Really this match up revolves around Spinals teleport. Spinal can protect himself if he has skulls, but if he doesn't you can grab him out of it or Ice Lance if he uses the ranged teleport in front of you.

Your main goal with Glacius is to get in range of Ice Lance and then counter attack...sounds too simple but it works.

Yes, because he can cancel the recovery frames of the teleport with an attack if he has skulls.

If spinal has skulls and teleports into attacks alot, with glacius you can react to his teleport with puddle punch. You'll go under the attack and get him. (even if he shoots skull of ex skull). Spinal can blow this up with teleport-block, or teleport teleport. If you read spinal's teleport-attack jumping back can cause him to miss and you can punish on the way down.
