You can use www.online-image-editor.com to resize the gif and maintain the animation.. I know it sounds super shady but I used it for both my sig pic and the second pic behind the link underneath my sig. It works great, no malware or anything. I recommend it

MK was originally named after a few things, Ed Boon considered Kumite, Death Blow etc a few names before coming up with Mortal Kombat thanks to the hint from Steve Richie
