This game won't be playable at tourney anyways because of xbone DRM. who cares about this? Also all you retards will save money because you're only buying individual chars so when you have your team of 3 guys you spent like a quarter of what you would on the full game with a bunch of chars you'd never main anyways. So long as all chars are included with game and anyone can play with anyone regardless of character purchases, this isn't a completely terrible choice. No idea why they're doing it this way but it's not all bad either.

Sorry how is this a bad thing? buying every character will most likely still be cheaper than buying the game at full retail price.

To me it just seems like a demo with the one character but with a choice of upgrading to the full version. i just hope there is an option to buy everyone and it will save you money.

i know it was a joke but a lot of people are assuming they are being ripped off. i personally dont see it as a bad idea as long as there is a way to buy all the available characters at a discounted price. I see how it could also be appealing to people who arent fans of the original games too as they dont have to pay anything to play it(although they are limited).

Its funny because Injustice actually charges for the costumes and extra characters too. I just hope this system doesnt fail. It can potentially work well. But we have to wait and see.

Doesn't this basically kill any hope for tournament play tho? Between having to buy every character on every console and the daily drm check in, it would make tourneys hard to arrange.

I happened to use every char in ki1 and ki2 and I was planning on doing the same with this game but fuck it, I'm not buying this shitty system jut for one game and f2p bs.
