Was this announcer guy just ad libbing it up or is Shang Tsung going to be in MKX?

I never made much of the gamestop thing. It just sounded like a casual MK fan throwing out names of classic MK characters off the top of his head. People read way too much into that.

Well, I really don't think there will be any secret characters other than this.... kind of disappointed but still excited. DLC included, we didn't even break 30 characters. I guess it's quality over quantity w/ the variations.

NRS will make room for it.

Well Shang Tsung is the only MK1 character who doesnt is in MKX so far.

Also doubt NRS would spoil the unlockable character with a press release with Liu Kang.

Shang Tsung unlockable, Blood Demon and final boss confirmed.

People wrote the same thing when the (eventually completely verified) gamefaqs leak happened. I sincerely doubt that it was a "guess." The guy wrote flat out who was DLC and who else was playable on March 17. There were no ifs, maybes, or buts. Too many people work on these games for too long for there to not be reliable leaks every once in a while. Leaks happen. All of the time.

The problem with Shang is: Isn't he part of Sindel now? I know she died so maybe he is free but he was not part of Quan Chi's "collection" at the end of MK9, which Sindel was a part of. I don't know, maybe I am just over thinking it.

He also states the roster is bigger than we've seen, Reiko is the big bad, and he stated numerous times DLC was Predator, Tremor, and Jason, before any of them were announced. Very curious.
