So the Block Breaker...

dwz_mk9

I could do this all day...
So the block breaker. One tool that’s been sorely forgotten in MKX mainly because of how awful it is; two bars of meter and all of your stamina for almost nothing in return. So the question for today is how can we make this tool better? In certain situations it would be a great tool against the likes of Kung Lao and Tanya. However, if NRS were to change this mechanic to not make it as useless as page 2 of Google search, they need to be careful in how it’s handled. Characters that have average to great meter building could abuse this to where the opponent could never have the chance to open someone up. For example, let’s say the block breaker only required one bar and no stamina. Summoner Quan Chi or HQT Predator could keep you at bay and once you started pressuring them they use a block breaker, back dashes once, and you’re back to square one. So how does NRS make this tool better? Discuss!

It's ideal. So..I'll believe it when I see every character but Quan break outta Quan's vortex.

1-bar and it does cost stamina, but with no delay on regeneration? That way they can't backdash right away, but you're not totally fucked for trying to escape pressure.

Block breakers should be left to rot . If you buff them , you are basicly buffing all of the top 5 characters since they have the highest meter-building in the game. And they also have some of the best options after a breaker. It's really not a good idea.

You get punish for using it to get out of pressure by having your stamina taking away for a good second or two.....Why?

I would like to see them buffed. One bar and two stamina with the stamina penalty is fine. If the top tier characters can abuse it adjust 'their' meter build.

I don't know who that is...
Here's an idea, keep them 2 meters and stamina but make them around +15 so after you block break you can start up pressure, I don't see that as too unfair considering the resources it cost to use a block breaker, but again it's just an idea
