Just curious if I'm the only fighting game fan that wants to waste my time in a magical fantasy world for hours and hours a day. Couple of short reviews I've read from a 3 hour trial that some people got to try out said it seems like the most realistic living world they have ever played in a game. Sounds promising.

EX Ovi should launch
I conveniently took the week off work when this is released. Im going on a camping trip 4 days after the release but those 4 days will be filled with a marathon of skyrim, takeaway food and pot. Gonna do some sort of stunted run though on my first playthrough, either naked or using starting gear or something just because after playing Dark Souls for the past week straight. I havent ever tried anything like that before so hopefully it will make it alot more challenging and enjoyable for me. Does anybody else have ideas for ways to make the game hard as shit without dragging the slider up to the impossible setting?

well unlike Oblivion, the enemies don't scale with you, they are specific by area, type of creature and class of creature (I was reading there's vampires, and someone ran into something called a master class vampire he demolished him after he was taking out all the other vampires without too much effort) so go to a zone where they are way too strong for you and try your best not to get killed. I saw a video of some low level guy harassing a giant and he got the shit kicked out of him haha.

I never did mind level scaling. I dont think the elder scrolls series is one that thrives on dificulty, but rather exploration and the vastness and immersion of the world you're in. Of course if you get it on PC the amount of mods will probably let you create some really intense gameplay. I cant wait to get Skyrim, I can already feel 300 hours of my life being drained away.

only thing that really sucked about scaling was easy monsters were insanely hard when you had a high level character, I played that game for 300 hours or so, had a level 47 or so mage run into say a minotaur and the battle just takes ages to finish since they scale up their hp and damage so much to match yours, I'd honestly prefer a game where certain monsters are really tough and others are a piece of cake once you get high enough. Makes it more realistic than fighting a rat that bites you for a quarter of your health when you have this crazy high level character
