Since the last patch the lag creates a hole after my jump overhead punch

Since the last patch for some reason because of online lag in most rooms whenever I land an overhead jump punch they can block the rest of the combo on a lot of the characters I pick. It doesn't happen in training or when I play certain people but a majority of the time this happens. It's frustrating because I can't start a lot of combos the way I should be able to.

Odd, I havent run into this problem yet... Maybe because I dont initiate the jump punches enough lol.
