Put this into perspective...characters in most 2D fighters have varying hurtbox sizes. This is even a factor in 3D fighters (not nearly as much as 2D fighters, but these differences exist. MK9 isn't entirely exclusive to this, and the only time a large hitbox absolutely kills a character is vs Kabal.

A bigger problem is hurtboxes that shift according to a character's animations.

Why do people still think NRS deliberately picked and chose who they gave big and low hitboxes to lol, they're the size they are because of the animations they just happen to have.

Take UMK3 for example, do you guys seriously think they just sat there out of sheer boredom and decided to make various runjabs/karajabs (well, LPs in general actually) whiff on Stryker for the lulz? Get out of here with this shit.

Low is fine as long as it doesn't completely negate moves that are supposed to work on low opponents. Like d4 with Mileena is retarded you can't even Sheeva low grab her when she's doing it.

Almost all 1 jabs whiff on crouch block when not point blank. NW isn't the only one with this issue.
