Setting up a tournament

I'll be helping friends set up a tournament in a few short days and I was wondering about a few things...

When you watch almost any streamed/recorded matches, they always have cameras on the players, the commentators, sometimes the crowd. Then they have a way to hook up all of the feeds, plus the game feed and put it in one overlay. (i'm pretty sure most of you know what I'm talking about.) How the heck does that work? What does audio commentary feed into? What software is used? Are there any guides out there? I couldnt find any.


Also wanted to know how you guys generally rig up this entire setup. How do you hook up your PS3 to TV and also a projector? Also, Mic's to computers, to god knows what else....

I'm not sure how all fo this works, but for the ps3 hook up there was a firmware update that allows you to do multi-outs. So my guess is, they use the HDMI out for the tv and the sd out for the projector.

You would still need a splitter I believe...so many questions.
