I'm not trying to troll or cause drama (@STORMS, GamerBlake90, etc. Pls moderate this forum due to the possible PL, REO, 16 Bit, etc drama), I am just looking for answers. Pig Of The Hut
Around MLG Dallas, Gross was reaching out to TYM for donations towards his Dallas drive after his VXG performance against Perfect Legend. I simply have some questions regarding this.

1. How wasn't VXG able to sponsor Gross to go to MLG Dallas, but they are able to:
a. Hold a $5,000 prize fight between Perfect Legend and REO
b. Pay for several players' trips to VXG 2013
c. Give top 16 payouts for several games
d. Sponsor a player via twitter

2. I've been told that the government/casino/etc is helping to fund the tournament and prize fight, which leads me to ask why they couldn't sponsor Gross to perform at MLG Dallas under their name.

Again, I'm just looking for answers.

Maybe the casino is sponsoring most of the event and the prize fight and didn't sponsor gross to come to Dallas? I have no idea just think that might a reasonable thought

There is no gain for any of those said parties to be real. Gross does not even represent their country. The money is coming from the government, so in reality it would not even give them any exposure nor could they justify it. If anything they would want to send a person from St marteen, and a what top player might that be?

Like James said. Because sending gross to Dallas is not really a benefit. While as hosting entertaining matches as well as paying out with bonuses for VXG gets ppl to travel there. Which is their goal.

this is sortof true. As Rolando explained to me in this interview http://www.psuni.com/video-x-games-gamers-paradise-17469/ St. Maarten is a tourism based island and the goal of the tournament is for people to enjoy their time there so they:
a) come back
b) tell people about the awesome time they have so that other people consider it in any vacation planning
