General/Other Secondary for Sub-Zero

Hopefully I'm not putting in the the wrong place, as I am new to TYM and Mortal Kombat games altogether. Anyway, I just got this game about a month ago, and I am maining Sub. My question is, what character should I secondary? I want a secondary (or 2) who can help me with Sub's weaknesses, or plays in some way similar to Sub-Zero. Sorry if it's a noobish question, but you all have been new to the game before. Any any is appreciated. Thank you!

Kenshi. I main both sub and kenshi so use kenshi because kenshi is awesome.

for bad MUs I'd say kenshi though because he's good at being a pussy defensive character.

Kabal.

Kung Lao. He's good for Kenshi and Kabal and those are the worst mu's for Sub.

Subzero dies to zoning. Zoning is the only way to really fight Subzero anyway. So for an alt you would want a character that can get around zoning. Kung Lao is the best choice I feel. His mobility is ridiculous so he just laughs at zoning.

I personally use Reptile and he does a lot better against characters like Kenshi, Kitana, Sindel, Shang Tsung, Smoke and Kabal. You could compare matchup numbers all day but it really comes down to finding a character that clicks with you and can cover the matchups you personally struggle with as Sub Zero.

vs Mileena: JOHNNY CAGE

vs Sindel: SEKTOR
vs Skarlet: JOHNNY CAGE

All other MU's I use Sub Zero

So Sub Zero: 22, Sektor: 4, Johnny Cage: 3, Raiden: 2

If I feel I am not up to par with Sub Zero I will switch out for Sektor since I have a lot of different MU experience with him as well. Cage and Raiden are more specialists for various MU's...

Vs. Kabal = Liu Kang
Vs. Others that I struggle against with SZ = Smoke

Noob Saibot or KL. Cyrax is also a good choice.

Problem with KL is that he struggles against Kitana just as much as SZ.
