Well since no one else has done it I'll start a thread for the Seattle area.

Shout out to that boy DragonVenom for our first successful gathering. Hope you had a good time. Really glad you came out. Hopefully I won't be as much a scrub the next time you make it out.

Come on Seattle, let's get something started!

I'm up in Monroe, which is near Everett if you don't know. I'm not that good right now, but once I pick a main and get some people to practice with hopefully i'll get better lmao. Anyway, hit me up on xbl @ mPariah or on the forums here if you like.

Well, as I said we already got things started this past weekend where I was hosting for my old SC buddies. Had DragonVenom over and we got my boys to start getting into MK along with the MvC3 they're playing. I'm hoping to get fairly competitive at this game as I'm still traveling for SC tournaments but as we all know those don't have the biggest turnouts anymore and I would like to enter one of these tournaments for MK.

Seeing as I can't travel too much with my bum ass car, I will offer to host regular sessions every week. I'm off Thurs-Sat. so any of those days will be fine with me. We have plenty of room and a few setups so P.M if anyone is interested and I'll give you my address and number.

Okay, so a few people have been hitting me up about a session this week. I'll just put it out there that I'll be hosting something this Saturday and hopefully we can get a weekly thing going here like we had for my SC people. Please post if you're interested and as I said I'll PM you with my address and phone number. Hopefully we can grow a strong MK scene here in Seattle.

Okay so just to let everyone know the set-up situation. I have 2 PS3s and 1 Xbox 360. I only have one copy of MK9 and that's for the PS3. It looks like I might be able to get another 360 up here one way or the other from either mPariah if he's able to make it (thanks mPariah) or possibly from one of my old SC boys (SC 5 Officailly announced by the way!!!) so if that's the case I can get them to bring their copy of MK9 for the 360 also. If anyone has any other questions or concerns please let me know and I'll do my best to address them.

Alright, so just to clarify I'll be hosting tomorrow anytime after 5. I have one confirmation so far so if anyone else is coming please post to let me know. I'd like to know how many set ups I'll have to put together. See everyone tomorrow.

Yeah bruh, really glad you could make it out here. Especially from freaking Monroe. You are a straight trooper. But we both are to be honest after all those Mileena ass beatings we took huh? LOL! Man fuck that whore. We gotta get together again to at least break even with Sha next week!
Shout out to Sha by the way. Hopefully we can get even more people next week. I see all these people professing their love for MK and all that, but come on people! Step up and get some games in.

Anyway, I digress. Good games once again and lets do it again next week.

Hi guys, my name is Duncan. I am currently not in WA but get back from NC in about 2 weeks. Im a big part of the competative street fight community and there is some crossover for street fighter guys that are trying to take MK9 seriously. We have an event called the 'salty runback' (thread can be found here http://shoryuken.com/f22/salty-runback-4-mvc3-ssf4-best-western-plus-executive-may-14th-265525/) every three weeks (its a shame I didnt find this yesterday since there was one yesterday.) The details are in in that thread but it is mainly for ssf4 and mvc3 which get about 60 entrants or so a piece i think, and mk9 has been run at the last 2. Its a great time, held at a bar with good drink spiecials, has a stream and commentary ect. Id encourage you guys to just all say hi in that thread, and make it out to one.

Also the guy who won the tournament yesterday tends to have sessions once a week (there is really only 4, 5 when i get back dedicated players who go currently.) Ill link him to this thread and see if i can get him to post up about those sessions.

P.S. I think i had trouble finding this because its in pacific north and not northwest...I know a few others who go to this site who may not of found it because of that..maybe it should be mved.

I agree that it should probably be moved though lol, I was on the site for like a week before i saw the recent topic thing and noticed that it was in Pacific North. Little strange. If we could get some more people that you're talking about MrK, that would be sick.

Well glad to see that more people are coming on this thread. Who do we talk to to get it moved to it's right place then?

I don't know about what's going on this week as I have to work but once again I'll be holding a session this Saturday for MK and whatever else pops up. I'll be ready by 5 and it ends when everyone gets tired and wants to go home. I'm a night owl so that doesn't matter to me. If anyone is interested just post up and I'll give you all the info you need.
