Tech - Hellfire Scorpion's 21 fbrc jails crouch-blocking opponent into 214

Hey, so as you can see in the video, when Erron black uses standing block vs Scorpion's 21, he can poke out of next 214, or just crouch without 2(which is high) hitting him. But if he ducks while blocking, he will get jailed into 214 if he stops blocking, even tho he will be in ducking state, he'll get hit by 2.

I'm not sure what's causing that, you can see in the video that i even tried to block first hit ducking and then stood up for second hit, and was unable to duck or poke out of 214 anyway.
Tried it on Takeda and Erron Black, but i'm pretty sure it will work on all the characters (maybe except female ones, needs more testing). And your 21 cancel must be pretty much perfect for that to work.

Damn this intrigues me, I know quite a few moves in the game have very different block advantage when blocked low instead of high. Nice find man.

How easy is it to armor out?
haven't actually tried it, but i would guess it's impossible to armor out in that scenario, because you getting hit by high move, while you're ducking = you're not recovered from block stun when 2 reaches you.

So I got around to testing this and it does seem to work on PS4. You can jail B1 from it for sure. (haven't got standing 2 yet, maybe I'm being too cautious of it's janky horizontal range)

I feel like you should all see this if you haven't already, and dare I say a re-check on all FBRC strings may be in order for both standing and crouching, for all we know some could be less + when crouch blocked....

I tried to do it vs kano armor up ball but I kept getting hit, didn't try b1 though. Also the timing on the cancel into fireball from 21 seems totally different on somebody that's crouching.

Try starting with D3 then working your way up to slower moves 1 frame at a time, that's how I got to grips with it.

i was getting ready to post this question in a different thread but is there any punch string that jails anymore after a FBC? i tried 21 214 and got bopped by SZ slide and Cassie FK.
