Question - Scorpion Scorpion Teleport not canceling?

I'll hold down when I do Teleport and he still attacks anyway. Glitch?

it takes stamina to do so make sure you have some

Oh shit is that what that is? I've done this on accident a few times and I was honestly starting to wonder if it was some weird bug. Man I feel dumb, that's super useful.
