This weekend in Melbourne, Australia is the Shadowloo Showdown 2013 tournament taking place from 12th-13th. Out of the games to be played, INJUSTICE: Gods Among Us is part of the tournament roster.

If our converted times are correct, tomorrow night at 8:30PM EST/7:30PM Central/5:30PM PST you can expect to see the Injustice action start on http://www.twitch.tv/shadowloohq

Yes, we know... this tournament is not happening in Singapore, but it's not far away. According to UltraDavid via twitter, the Street Fighter 4 AE 2013 Evolution World Champion, Xian has stated that besides AE 2012, Injustice is all Singapore plays.

Yeah... no... Singapore's Injustice scene has been on life support for awhile and there will be no Singaporean Injustice players going to SS. I can state that for a fact. Sorry to disappoint guys.

Let me add that , based on what we saw at South East Asia major, OZ definitely has some sick Injustice players, so it should still be worth your time tuning in to SS2k13 for some quality Injustice =)

Xian told me this several months back. I was just hoping the scene was still playing, hence "Hope they've kept that up." After I tweeted this, a few people responded saying that the scene has kinda dropped off and that in any case not many SG players are going.

Cool to hear about Australian players though.

Thanks for the shout out Ultradavid. Hopefully we can still pick things up

Yeah, SS was pretty fun, had a blast

Highlights;

- Gilbagz made it to losers finals of his pool... with fugging joker. His joker is amazingly dirty. All that OTG tech, makes me shudder.
- Lex in top 8. Whaaaat?
- All Oz top 4 =D
- @n-megabyte's catwoman with the sexy combos
- Falco exposing everyone as fraud with his Superman
- Melbourne vs. Sydney crew match afterwards. So hype. Gilbagz double parried doomsday charge on a pixel of life to take the match.
- me finally learning how to deal with aquaman

All in all, not a bad day =D. Looking forward to casuals an money matches tomorrow.

by the way STORMS this was a really weird article. shadowloo showdown is an international major held in australia with some great australian players (all top 4) but the tournament is kinda a footnote to Tweets about rumours as usual. there should have been way more noise about this and i dont see what the tweet has to do with the article, there were no singapore IGAU players at SS.

i guess whatever bi hourly US casuals are important tho

I'll admit that it was kinda thrown together, but I've been busy moving lately so my details weren't exactly 100%... I did what I could. :(
