I am leaning towards Kronika actually being unlockable, along with Mileena and maybe another character that was secret in previous games like Reptile or Smoke. We also have heard nothing about the cyborgs, so maybe those as well.

My guess is 25 plus 0 unlockables, as unlockable characters add a barrier for access that competitive + tournament players would not want to deal with. This point is moot if the barrier-to-unlock is small, could be a Cyber Sub-Zero situation where the character is secret but can be immediately accessed. At that point though, the character is barely secret.

24 + 1 unlockable (Kollector/Frost), there is no option like that in the poll, but that is the most probable scenario we will end with.

Besides mk1, i cant think of a single mk game that didn't have secret characters you can PLAY as. So i sincerely doubt mk11 wont have any secret/unlockable characters. Paulo said "sure they're secret characters". So at least there's something to look forward to.

That coupled with how big the krypt is gonna be. Plus the leaks (regardless of unlockable was mistaken for dlc). And if i were to throw in an educated guess on how big the final roster count is gonna be...

My guess would be 25 + 3 unlockable. 28

+ 6 dlc season 1. 34

+ 4/6 dlc season 2. 38/40

I think the game will end with either 38 to 40 characters

Definitely agree with this. I'm sure one of the 25 characters will be unlockable, and it'll probably be one of those two. I thought Cetrion might be unlockable at one point, but since her reveal trailer, it just seems less likely.

I think its Just 25, including Shao Kahn.

And if Shao Kahn isn't included and there and there is an unlockable we don't know about, I think, to many people's dismay, it'll be Shinnok.
