Resident Evil 6: Anthology

So I was browsing Amazon looking for really good deals on some gifts for others and myself and I noticed that Amazon.com is offering a unique edition of Resident Evil 6 with the name Anthology at the end.

The reason why I mention this is that according to the cover, product info and packaging this version of the game includes Resident Evil 1-5 in addition to Resident Evil 6 for only about 25 dollars more(what a bargain :) ).

This is also a good promotion for those on the fence about RE6, gives you all the classic games for a slightly higher price, plus newer versions, the new game, and it's a nice option for those who haven't experienced the classics before first hand.

I just wanted to share this everyone,the game isn't coming out for a couple more weeks, but just a nice helpful heads up :).

It's listed as $89.96 on Amazon.com.

Edit: Appears to be PS3 exclusve at this point :(. I hope this changes for those who are on Xbox.

Only the ones listed on the cover from what I gather...Code Veronica is thankfully on the PSN store if you're interested in that version too :).

RE6 by itself is 60 bucks and getting a lot of these separate on other consoles new as Ive observed can end up costing 20 bucks per game in the series (a lot of times more).

RE 4 is in HD and RE 1 is Director's cut, which had radically better graphics than the original version, no clue otherwise.

The 360 doesn't have this because Microsoft thinks it's far more important to spend $50 million+ on timed-exclusive DLC.

But honestly, my guess is that RE1, 2, and 3 will be the emulated PS1 versions on the PSN Store, which aren't on XBLA for obvious reasons.
Personally I prefer physical copies though and Imo the previous games are much better on the Dreamcast and Wii.

Looks like 360 is getting CV to compensate for the lack of the original trilogy.

If they have this deal on PSN I'll get it. But I have no way of paying through the computer or whatever.

I only liked Leon's part in the RE6 demo. Chris' seemed like a third person shooter.

Well basically the PS3 guys get what they have on the PSN store and we get what we have on the XBL Marketplace. LOL CRAPCOM YOU SLEEZY BASTARDS

Yeah, the reason that the PS3 package gets the earlier games is because these should all be DLC codes. 360 got CVX RE4, and RE5 because it is on the Xbox store. PSN has the PS Classics section.

Still a good deal either way. Code Veronica X is so gawdlike.

I actually have copies of RE4 on Wii and RE5 on PS3. My niece has RE1 now that I think about it....kind of disappointed it's not the highly improved gamecube version for RE1, still a good bundle though.

Also, yes they're digital downloads.

yeah :/ they also did remake of re3 nemesis on gamecube but its almost same as PS 1 version . And speaking of re3 , damn it bring up some memories :) It was my first horror game and I loved it <3 And from this point on ive became a survival horror games fan :D
I remember ive always jumped on my chair and almost got a heart attack in moments like this lol :p

Just for the record, REmake and RE Zero actually got official Wii ports, go with those if you prefer the Wiimote/Nunchuck or Classic Controller over the Gamecube controller. (which I sure as hell do..)
