Recording question, please help

Hello all, I was just posting to ask for some help recording from my ps3. I was wondering what is a reputable way of recording straight from my ps3 or screen on to my computer. I did this years ago when making Halo 3 montages, but I was hoping for something with better quality. Can anybody help me out?

My asus monitor doesn't have a component connection, so I had to buy a multi compoent cable *so I can use it on 360 and ps3* a adapter that converted component to hdmi, toslink audio cable. Your computer will require a minimum of a 2.0ghz dual core processor

I think some other company makes a hd-pvr with hdmi connection, but I'm not sure who and how good it is compared to this one.

I have that as well, it works nicely. Hooks to your pc visa usb. Just make sure the pc if powerful enough to do the recording.

Maybe a capture card you can drop into a desktop, but I think thatd save you like $20.
