Real Talk: Why is Cassie not spelled with a K?

This just hit me like a ton of bricks and I'm not sure what to think. My world is upside down.

Kronika is spelled with a K, but not Cassie.

Yeah sure. Clark Kent. Letters are still an important part, since it makes for better visuals, when you have a BB or a PP or a CC on paper compared to a CK.

Because the alliteration with the two Cs looks nicer. They already had Cage with a C, so you can't go back and change that. And Cassie Cage is optically nicer than Kassie Cage.

I'm just glad they don't feel the need to replace every hard C with a K. It's a fun little thing when it's Kombat as a reference to the game's title. But when they do it everywhere else, it becomes an overused gimmick and stops being fun.

So I'm glad Cassie is with a C. Had she been European though, it would've made sense to make it with a K, which is how we spell a lot of names in Denmark at least. Kassandra, Kamilla, Kristoffer, Karoline, etc.

Actually, Kassandra Cage looks awesome, but I like the shorter version better.
